Golfo dei poeti: è noto che P.B.Shelley fece di Villa Magni a San Terenzo la sua dimora e che il Golfo dei Poeti deve il suo nome al commediografo Sem Benelli,estasiato dal panorama di incomparabile bellezza che poteva ammirare da Villa Marigola.
Anche D.H. Lawrence soggiornò nel Golfo, e, in particolare siamo fieri che Lawrence, l’autore de “l’Amante di Lady Chatterly” abbia soggiornato proprio all’Hotel Shelley e delle Palme,citandolo addirittura nella lettera, che riportiamo letteralmente, indirizzata ad un amico.
