Our spa resembles a small treasure chest where you can indulge in individual care and pampering, Finnish sauna, emotional shower and massage treatments on our terrace overlooking the sea. SPA: Spa literally means “salus per aquam” (health through water). It is also the name of a town in eastern Belgium known for its mineral water springs, a favorite of Tsar Peter the Great. Spas provide a unique opportunity to live a few hours immersed in wellness due to different treatments such as: massage, sauna, Turkish bath, emotional shower, roman bath and relaxation area and tea room.

MASSAGE CENTER

A massage is part of a course to relieve physical pain and also time dedicated to care for our body, which as a consequence produces a positive effect helping to enrich the spirit. A massage releases all stress by complete abandonment, profoundly affecting the senses and establishing contact with our inner energy. Our masseuses are masters of the most important forms of massages and will be happy to suggest what best fits your needs. SAUNA
The origin of the sauna dates back to ancient times. It is most probable that it was used as a cleansing ritual, present in many ancient religions. The therapeutic and aesthetic virtues were certainly understood by the ancient Greeks. The sauna became quite popular among the Nordic population, especially in Finland, where it reached its peak as being considered a great source of wellness for the body and mind. Today a sauna is considered a bath of very hot and dry air in a closed environment produced by a machine that heats and dries air. Its function is to breathe and eliminate toxins through perspiration, followed by a fresh vaporizing shower. This thermal stimulation produces a type of exercise for the vascular and autonomic nervous systems.

FINNISH SAUNA
The Finnish sauna consists of a small room with a wood furnace located in a corner full of volcanic stones and benches along the wall where you can either sit or lie down. The temperature varies between 80° to 100° Celsius, where as the humidity goes from 15% to 30%. Following the sauna there is a rest period of ten minutes in our relaxation area.

EMOTIONAL SHOWER
This new type of shower has completely revolutionized the recent concept as a quick alternative to the traditional bathtub. After a sauna there is nothing better than a shower formed of micro fine spray droplets from spiced aromatic sensations, light and sound, which give new vigor to the body by cooling it as well as deeply moisturizing the skin and relaxing the mind. The latest technology, cleverly combined with precious materials and high quality, are the secret of the emotional shower which complete your wellness treatment. The fragrances and oil essences are combined with the properties of hot and cold water distributed through nozzles and dispensers positioned in the ceiling and walls. The emotional shower is a place that allows you to experience unique sensations and sweet caresses.

Our relaxation room is equipped with deck chairs and a large terrace overlooking the sea.
